Arts

  • Youth theater, music, and dance initiatives

  • Visual arts workshops and community exhibits for children

Education

The Foundation seeks to provide school-aged children with access to educational programming, summer camps, and other opportunities that expand their learning. Funding supports programs that help students build skills, confidence, and curiosity that extend beyond the classroom.
  • Academic enrichment and tutoring programs

  • Summer learning camps that reduce learning loss

  • STEM, literacy, and college readiness initiatives

Affordable Housing

Providing the opportunity for stable, safe, and affordable housing for all is a key priority for the Foundation. Financial support will be provided to organizations in Mecklenburg, York, and surrounding counties that provide direct services to individuals and families facing a housing crisis or working to secure affordable housing.
  • Emergency housing and shelter programs

  • Rental support and housing navigation services

  • Community based programs that increase access to long term affordable housing
